Lessons from the Great Depression

The Great Depression was one of the toughest times in not only American history but World history. Unemployment skyrocketed, profits and prices dropped, trade plunged. As we go through the current U.S. recession, which thankfully isn't as severe as the Great Depression, there are more than a few lessons we can learn from the that devastating time during the 30s.
